Exciting times, exciting times. I went to the rheumatologist today and she tweeked my medications today and released me back to work. I called Ren, my Sears manager, and told her I had a letter giving me permission to come back to work. She called back and told me HR said that because I was part-time I didn't need to turn in a letter of fitness, however when we went to orientation for work we were told to do it some I am bringing it in all the same. I believe I will just do what I was told to do at orientation, ya know?
Also, yesterday my boss from Art of Science, the editing firm I work for, contacted me and said she may have a paper for me to work on in the medical field. She wanted to make sure I could handle the medical terminology and I assured her that I could. She wants us to start doing work with these people so that we can start doing some of their grant writing which would be right up my alley!
It is very wonderful to have friends who try to take care of you.
